History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Orianna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Suhnae and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zykroff grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zykroff. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
