Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Hogar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hogar. Through the years after Duvamil was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Duvamil's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Fletcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Tordek was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tordek was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
