She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Katherine was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Katherine's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Mreksh was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Junk Dealer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Nora learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
