History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Horhog grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Elysande is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Thiala's homeland. Thiala decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thiala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
