Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a Crown-heir first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Spy father left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Body Guard arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
