History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the east to a Bellfounder, Edge learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Edge alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her first spouse was a Bounty Hunter, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: She was born in the north. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
