History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some goblins. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sickle use. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Azaki grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Azaki. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'9" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a tan costume with the symbols of magic on her torso. Her blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her skin is flawless and her brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'5". She sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Nyx was taken on many hunting expeditions. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to reunite with her old friends

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scythe, but if one is not available he will default to his shield, and he perpetually has his shield ready. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length brass crest. His eyes are red and catlike.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pandjed studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pandjed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
