Description: He wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. He carries with him a set of clubs, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is short and silver. His eyes are violet.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He works hard and plays hard.
History: Nalral hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nalral fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: He wears a simple green robe with red stripes complete with hood. He carries with him a set of bastard swords, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has no hair. His gold eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson green hat.
Personality: Vassago is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born in a small island village. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vassago fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. His hair is white and very short. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
