History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Paela was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
