History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zephan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. During his travels, Zephan and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Zephan discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Zephan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now owns his own business.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Eloise wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her.
