Description: An older man who is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Shepherd, he is not a threatening figure. His crest is cut close to his head. His skin is flawless and his red eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Mugrunden speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: Mugrunden lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people; and doesn't want to be a shepherd and was forced into it by his family

Description: He wears a brown collared shirt and tan pants. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly pickaxes and glaives. He wears a colorful flower in his brown fur. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Quick is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quick. Being a Glassblower kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair is golden and curly. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Ûshgol was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ûshgol never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. She tends to her Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and to be a sellsword again

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cockaby abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
