History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Flak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Tiaathque was a troubled youth. When her mother died while fighting goblins, the young Enna began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
