History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Cook, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Engraver business.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with pastel lining and desert motifs. His fur is cut close to his head. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shadow does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shadow was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time, marred by teas. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He is a Hag in disguise. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Lilli was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her black hair is singed and shortened. Her fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. She struck the Glassblower job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world
