History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sellsword born in the past three hundred years. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Barbena isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born into a rich family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Shivering and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gesrethe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gesrethe. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
