Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Baern. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
