History: Mordai was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Quarion wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarion grew up listening to his father's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Burgell was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Burgell's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to end his boredom

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Locksmith profession.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Igden was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Blacksmith, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to protect her home
