History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Tethren took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: River was born with her father's beautiful face. Through the years after River was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. River's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a Barrister soon after.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She tends to her Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
