History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Biri took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up work as a Sailor and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Mara has worked very hard to control her curse. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Verin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Orsik is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Orsik was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.
History: She got into the Apothecary business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arava grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arava. She's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
