Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform After a long history of fighting, Curran and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She carries a battered hammer and tarnished mace as well. She keeps her long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her youth she was a Shipwright, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to clean up the streets

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She enjoys reading and quiet.
History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.
History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.

History: Bella was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
