History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Jane never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Performer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He tends to his Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Gorfel liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Reddlepop grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Reddlepop. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ella and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
