History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This tall, slender woman prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Shaena reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Peren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Barrister, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a Interpreter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Silent was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Silent's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. She became a Carpenter soon after.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and balancing her hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a great chef.

History: Gifted from a young age, Everard studied abroad. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aramil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to prove his worth to the world
