History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She struck the Mercenary job and began her own company from there.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Serpent was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

History: River was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naamah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naamah. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
