History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: She comes from a rich northern family. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. After coming to the age of reason, Gillyd took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a yellow tunic with green highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has moderate length red hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
