Personality: Gerald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Gerald was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gerald decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Naivara was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
