History: Forcas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Egelina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She became a Spice Merchant soon after.

History: Born to a Cartwright, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Vassago hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Vassago's homeland. Vassago decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vassago fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She struck the Shepherd job and began her own company from there.

History: Silaqui was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
