Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He carries with him a set of bastard swords on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Kody's homeland. Kody decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light red in addition to tight pants. He is portly but not overly obese. His head has been shaved. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Pirithin isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pirithin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Pirithin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears a white vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her white boots flare out at the collars. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes are brown and catlike.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Nora's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Nora took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She uses divination through singing.
History: Mara was born the youngest of three triplets. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Grumbar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Grumbar reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
