Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Megged was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Megged fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: 6'0" and muscular, this northern man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Balam began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Dara enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Delre was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is content; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. After a long history of fighting, Callie and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
