Through the years after Baradad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Baradad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Baradad and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Ruler, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
