Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Stylist like his mother before him.

She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has achieved small success as a Courier.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has worked as a Servant like her mother before her.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Donaar decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.
