History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Sumnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Navigator, but she got bored and became a Knight. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has all her life been fascinated with dancing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Yurgunn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A freak accident while working with her Herbalist mother left her crippled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She got into the Laborer business at a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
