History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Description: She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a brown coat. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly sickles and scimitars. Her hair is chestnut and curly. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Helen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.
History: Helen hails from a village terrorized by drow. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Helen took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sickle and armor she uses now. Being a Knight kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Havilar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Havilar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the east to a Healer, Ortegar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ortegar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Nalaed wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nalaed is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
