History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. After coming to the age of reason, Naivara took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Gifted from a young age, Whurbin studied abroad. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and retire the richest man in the east

He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
