History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His first spouse was a Butcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Glim embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Donella was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Navigator. She now mingles about in high society.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gifted student he started as a Stableman, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.
