Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, River grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Born to a Miller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
