History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Ishte was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rivaan studied abroad. His childhood dream was to be a Interpreter, but he was a colossal failure. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
