History: Thradal hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Zook lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Ronobe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Burgell was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
