History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Kansif was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kansif grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kansif. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To protect his home; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Baker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and seeks redemption

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability.
