History: Pallabar was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He became a Unemployed soon after.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Dustin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Faral speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a great chef.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gifted student she started as a Layabout, but she got bored and became a Stylist. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sarai was born with her mother's beautiful face. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Anselm has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to be a cartwright again

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Mialee is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
