Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Barfa and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to be a bather again

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a great chef.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gesrethe and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ekk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ekk. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
