Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Corkitron embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Corkitron enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is obsessed with his god.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Nelkin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and to be a sailor again

She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Vorka was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vorka was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
