History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he's looking for his big break

History: Born to a Cartwright, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Werydd was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Werydd decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lorilla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Lorilla reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Seraphina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to raise her children well
