History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: River was born with his mother's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has worked as a Banker like his mother before him.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. The war was a terrible time for her, and Merla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Cook, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her first spouse was a Cook, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She bought a lance and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Halander is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Halander was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to get a good night's sleep

Her amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Ilde was taken on many hunting expeditions. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by her family
