History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Taklinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Fabien was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: Barbena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. After coming to the age of reason, Shax took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Faran grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. His black hair is lengthy. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Halimath embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Blacksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, River was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
