History: Portia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Scribe father left her crippled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and money/treasure

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: Born in the west to a Baker, Right-Handed learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Baker and found it very stressful. He became a Baker soon after.
