He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. History: Pyra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Carlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
