History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with her Stableman mother left her crippled. She now owns her own business.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Trym was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Trym's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

History: Tomi was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Baker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Watson embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Beggar for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.

She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Junk Dealer soon after.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Dabbledob is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was born in the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
