History: He comes from a rich northern family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Description: This eastern man prefers to wear white clothing when he does not wear armor. His clothes are grease stained in places. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: She is a Marshal first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A true patriot, Emma would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: To be a Knight again; and balancing her hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Halander was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to unite with his brother

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Xanaphia abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
