Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the south to a Bather, Aelar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Broce learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bounty Hunter, but he got bored and became a Laborer. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Dilettante. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Layabout. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he has a crush on the local layabout

Personality: He hates Dwarves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Being a Unemployed kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and revenge

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Hunter and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she's looking for her big break
