History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. When Elama reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and to find somewhere to settle down
