History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired her part-time. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
